Susu Notaro, M.A.O.M, L.Ac., Diplomate (NCCAOM)

Susu Notaro is a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist in Virginia (by Commonwealth Of Virginia Department Of Health Professions, Board of Medicine) and Maryland. She is an active Diplomate of Acupuncture, having earned board certification from NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) which represents a significant professional achievement. NCCAOM certification makes an important statement about professional competence that is recognized by regulatory bodies, third-party payers, the profession and the public. Further, she is certified and was mentored by globally recognized Master and Chairman of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China, where she also completed a part of her clinic practices in TCM and Auricular Acupuncture in 2008.

After completing her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (Traditional Chinese Medicine and herbology), Susu’s interest and passion in the natural healing power of food and nutrition, which she studied initially at Yo San University in 1992, led her to pursue and practice Eight Constitution Medicine.

What differentiates Susu from most Oriental Medicine practitioners is, after her extensive studies under the tutelage of both Chinese and Korean grand masters, she expanded her practice by integrating Traditional Nutrition, Eight Constitution Medicine, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Through this integrated implementation of practice, and by successfully applying her knowledge of natural healing procedures and modalities, the most rewarding accomplishment for Susu has been relieving her patients from their long sufferings and pain.
